well the holidays are finally here!!!! there were deff some points at which i didnt think i'd make it... some mornings it was just SO HARD to get up... esp when friday seems so far away!!

but its finally done, and tonight i have my first party!! not that much will happen (i have tutor tomorrow morning :( ) but the guy is turning 18, and some girls and i got him some derwints, a sketch pad (hes very arty) and a fingerpaint thing... who didnt love fingerpainting when they were little??? personally i thought the best bit was drawing on other people (the paper was never as much fun :P) and then that progressed to nasty words when i was older

the other good thing about being little was getting to watch cartoons... everybody remembers cheez tv!! its now toasted tv... WHAT THE HELL!?! talk about ruining the BEST show ever!!

so i have my nails painted and i have my shoes picked out... black strappy ones (mmmmm) and i have everything else.... i just need a top, maybe arron can help me with that :P

what have I been lately... not allot, actually that isn't exactly true.

on Friday the school held its festival of ideas day, which I gather to mean that since they beat all the creativity out of us during school, this day was to get it all back.  so it started off with an ideas exchange, where Julian Burnside, Alan Atwood and two others came and spoke to us on a variety of topics. can I just say that if you ever have the opportunity to go and see Julian Burnside speak, GO! he is AMAZING!!!

then I went to a linguistics lecture, basically all about how words have changed since the creation of then English language. so that was really cool, esp as this is they type of stuff I'd be doing if I chant been pushed into the sciences..  last off was a performance of the Odyssey, not amazing, but really good, it was really moving.  the whole day was good, except for the last bit... it was a chem lesson seeing as we missed our double... the most boring thing, even if it was necessary...

and then the best thing of the day happened... who was waiting at my locker when I came down... JAMES!! with flowers!!! how sweet is that?!?!  I was totally surprised... then we went into the city to meet up with Ams, nick, Luke, al and CVP and wandered round the city for the afternoon before heading home. then dinner with at James' and home that night.

Saturday... karate and training in the morning, then a rushed shower before going off to Southland. James messaged me while I was up there and we caught up outside Myer. after wandering Southland for a bit, then getting a chocolate cookie James and I went back to Myer... to go lingerie shopping!! I found the cutest Mossimo torsolette, its white with black polka dots and these cute little buttons... though it turns out that its not really the most comfortable thing to wear... I had metal sticking into my ribs every time I slouched. now I understand the pain that girls had to endure when corsets were all the rage!!

so Saturday afternoon I went to some open houses with James' family, quite nice. James and I discussed the things that we wanted in a house, and it turns out that we have mostly the same wants and needs. kind of a random discussion, but whatever, it was fun.

Saturday night I babysat, quite fun, even if my phone did die and left me with no one to talk to... :( apparently I didn't miss much at Chris' party, though I'm sure those that went had fun. maybe next time someone holds a superhero party I'll go.

Sunday was supposed to be work day, but it ended up being a lazy day. I was playing happily on my laptop, then nick comes online and his MSN name is something like 'its such a nice day outside' so I opened the curtains... and it was!  but then I decided that I was really to tired to be bothered going outside and enjoying it... so I closed the curtains as went back to playing on my laptop.

Sunday night James came over for dinner, we had hamburgers. I almost cut James' finger off while waving my bread knife around talking, silly me, so close and yet so far... I'll try harder next time I'm waving a knife around :P and the best thing of the weekend... beating the universe... turns out we got enough time and therefor we have decided that we did something right that weekend and that the universe loves us!

so what's happening this week.. well tonight I have soccer, so pumped!!! if we win tonight and then next week, we should make the finals! I'm also babysitting after, so more money. hopefully my new laptop will arrive sometime this week, I cant wait, I'm so excited!! on Wednesday I'm getting a new karate uniform for my black belt grading on the 9th of September.

can you tell I'm killing time here... I'm writing this in physics, and I'm thinking I should type slower so that I'm not writing as much for you all to read... but whatever, maybe your reading this in something just as boring and you want it to last so that you don't actually have to do any work... or maybe your putting off homework and you want this to last because your procrastinating!

whatever, I've exhausted my supply of noncontroversial gossip... everything else I have to say will be seriously mean or detrimental to relationships (I'm talking friendships here... I would never say something on my blog that would make my friends break up intentionally)

oh no, I have one more thing... when your on facebook, and you download the naughty gifts application, don't send someone a gift because it looks pretty or something... know what its alluding to!! for example: if you see the gift 'pearl necklace' and you think its a piece of jewelry, your wrong!!! *cough Emma cough*

so that's my last rant, I have 15 mins left of physics... yawn... iz xo
