24 February NAVY LIFEwell no doubt you've all got my emails, and i'll get facebook back in 2 weeks, but this is for all those poor people who just arent cool enough to be part of the emil circle... JOKES!!!

HI EVERYONE!!!
about the grad parade, gona be kick ass. the sunset ceremony will be with rifles, and just after sunset we get to fire them (hopefully all at the same time) which means everyone has the flash happening at the same time.
what else has been happening?? highlights: HMAS COLLINS (the sub) rocked up about 2 weeks ago so i got to go on tour for about 2 hours (totally awesome btw)
first exercise was coronel, an afternoon of team building stuff. had to carry a log, stretcher and all thei other shit 5kms in 2 hours along roadds, tracks, beaches and even THRU a lagoon (not around, thru)
second was last night, sunda strait, 0400 wakeup on thrusday was hard. 12km pack march, 12km bike ride, 6km row (raft) across the bay, 3km swim with all this crap (we had 10mins to build a raft, like that was ever gona happen!) so we just dumped it in and pushed it. then we had to carry said stuff 5kms BACK to were we jumped in
and we camped on one of the sporting grounds, no rain. other divs went to a different ground with sprinklers.. that activate in the wee early hours... some idiot was stupid enough to set up the hootchie OVER a sprinkler. i think thats awesome, deffinately an enrty into the darwin awards!
now i have the weekend off, totally awesome cos i have a shitload of washing and ironing to do!
pity there is no wireless here, cos i have VERY limited access to the facebook comps.
keep sending me letters and photos!!
oh d ams and sof, i cant come to the school thingo cos out div has watch that weekend and i need to be on duty from 0530... :( but i'll see you all at easter!!
about that, dinner at pancake parlous at chaddy, i have stuff to buy before!! i know i said i wanted to go out and stuff, but im so tired here so i think a low key affair is good.
pass this on to everyone who needs to know! (or wants to) or better yet, put it on facebook or something!

first weekend leave and i go out to get wireless internet for my laptop to have REAL internet and what do i get told?? you're not 18, you cant sign the contract!

its a good thing that im turning 18 in TWO WEEKS (yes, very unsubtle hint :P) and THEN i'll go get it
in the mean time the beach smells of seaweed but there are 11 ships in the bay, totally cool to look at! whatelse is news....
have first aid course and survival as sea. whatever. another div gets to go to canberra an do a small arms class... read : WEAPONS!!! F88 styer and the 9mm pistol. super excited for it cept that i wont be doing it for the next few months.
sailing for the first time next saturday, but i'll have to get thru this week first!
did an assignment today, have a few others to do, plus a heap of security and pay issues to sort out... and my room is officially a shitfight... so messy!! but that's what happens when you are allowed all your civ street stuff...
and ironing... so much today!! all the stuff i brough with me was crinckle, and i had to iron some uniforms... sigh... so much ironing!!
PT at 0545 tomorrow morning, will be a change from the lazy weekend ive had!!
