a quick update while i wait for jess to finish off the last bit of her comms assignment...

i (finally) finished mine this afternoon, with alot of help and some references... i didnt copy if no one asks :P but seriously, its hard shit doing stuff like that!

also handed in my history assignment today, very happy :D and that means that the two things weighing over my head are now out of the way! all i have left that (might) be due soon are two speechs that really dont matter...

im going to spend the next few days getting my pack ready for Exercise Coral Sea... sigh... dont mind doing the exercise, but i really dont like the bruises from my pack :(

and today i had 3 injections.... you know how they put some in your thighs for a reason?? she mixed them up.. WTF!?!?!?! OWOWOWOWOWOWOWOWOWOW!!!!!!!!!! like seriously!

and i got to have a pap smear... joy... NOT!

hope you all had betters days than i, tho my boots do look seriously good with my jeans :D

Hey everyone!!

It's week 11 of 22, and that means that i'm half way done! my glass is officially half full now, as opposed to the half empty it was a few weeks ago. Since Easter, when most of you got an update, i've done a heap of shit, some i liked, some i SO didnt.

They week after i got back cook div got bussed out to HMAS HARMAN in canberra and commenced 4 days of Steyr shooting. It was fun, but learning all the drill, espicially stripping thw weapon, was tough out. In the end i shot like shit, but the reality is that i probably wont ever have to fire the Steyr in anger.

Then we've had a heap of time in the classroom, learning about history, politics, laws, communications and some other more then random shit that i can't remember. Then finally we got to go out on the range to shoot 9mm pistols, the officers weapon. this is something that i'll probably have to keep up todate because it's the weapon all officers carry in 'warlike situations'

this week i smashed out my history assignment (all 2200 words) in a few hours... yes, last minute, but old habits die hard and thats just something yr 12 gives you :P.

today i got to be assistant college officer of the day...  A/COOD. all pomp and ceremony and you dont sctually do anything useful. well, that isnt quite true, i got to do history, but really, it isnt like the posistion fullfull any neccessary function.

currently im sitting in the computer room killing time so that i dont have to go back to the office and sit on my ass til midnight. yeh, thats right.... 12!!! and i still have to get up at 5 tomorrow morning for pt!!!

speaking of pt, it's actually going ok. i fucked my knee a bit so its hurting to run but it im sure its something that i can push through. i gained 38seconds on my 2.4km run, so not impressed! hopefully when i have the actual, real test on the 28th of april i can get under 10mins... but i dont think it'll happen...

other then that... not alot happening...

hey again! well it's almost easter which means that im almost home!!! i have a big day thursday planned, and friday morning is taken, but if you're lucky you can see me over the weekend before i fly out on monday...

im going to try and pop into karate on thursday afternoon, and then come in for a class on saturday once i comfirm the time. also thurdays is dinner night, as well as a heap of beauty appointments and at some point., i have to see the bank to arrange for my pay to be saved, yeh, i still not very good at that :P

so far i've been shopping twice, once for lingerie and the other time for clothes and shoes....  i have a white top and another red top for dinner, as well as a green tank and copper t for every day stuff. also got cream mary janes and black boots.... but the weather here is totally nice and i need some more shorts and a casual skirt

when i go home i'll bring some stuff back, but everything else i think i'll just give away, i certinately dont need it any more!

i have more uniforems then i know what to do with, and that means a different pair of shoes to go with each one, but the shoes here are no where near as pretty as a pair of good steve maddens.....

some important milestones... im now 18, but i dont feel like it AT ALL.... not only cant i not get into the local pub due to a severe lack of ID, but it's not like those in the Navy under training have any special privlidges anyway.

the plan to get internet fell thru, $300 for a modem means NO WAY for me, but i can deal with what i have here... maybe there will be something i can get when i gpo home, but otherwise, this isnt too bad...

juat got back from my first week at sea too, not exactly horendous, but not soemthing that im hoping to repeat in the very near future... will be away for a month later on for sea training, going to NX on HMAS MANROOA, which is a big ship of the fleet... google it if you can be f'd

after easter im subjected to a few days of small arms training, which im looking forward to, it'll be on the Styer and then after a few days back in CRESWELL, on the 9mm pistol. between the training we have our cocktail party... sigh... almost full ceremonial dress.... not looking forward to it becauase the uniform for it is not only totally unfeminine but totally unflattering!

off to find a facebook computer....

i packed this morning with james' help... dont ever try to pakc coathangers.... BIG MISTAKE! but make sure you fold your undies... lol and always pack your bathroom pack last... (with a SMALL tooth brush!)

i also ironed (I KNOW: SHOCK-HORROR!!) and folded away all my pretty dresses im taking with me :(... have you ever tried to iron a pleated shirt??? just dont buy it, i fought with it and the iron won:P

all the people who truly love me will see me tomorrow... downstairs at 11.20 please! the building is right at the end of city swanston, just past the auldi building... after there WILL be lunch!

so goodbye to all, i might be back in easter... depends how hard they work me...
